How a phone free date night goes

One of you starts it
Pick the hours before the evening starts. Anything from 5 minutes to 8 hours, and three covers dinner and what comes after.

The other taps join
One notification, one tap. Both phones then block every app for the same window, and joining late still puts you in it.

Ending early takes both
A Strict pact ends on its timer, or when more than half of you vote to end it. With two of you, more than half is both of you.
You are both in the room and you are both somewhere else. One phone comes out, the other follows inside a minute, and the evening you planned turns into two people scrolling next to each other.
One pact settles it for both phones at once. Every app you each picked stays shut for the hours you agreed on, and iOS keeps blocking with CoPact closed, after a force quit and through a restart.
Neither of you can quietly fold for the other. Under Strict there is no break, no edit and no early end unless you both vote for it, and your partner sees that you joined and that you kept it, never which apps you blocked.

Is there a screen time app for couples?
CoPact is one. Two people put both phones under one block for the same hours, and Apple's Screen Time machinery holds each phone to it.
Can my partner end the block without me?
Under Strict, no: ending early takes more than half the votes, and with two of you that is both of you. A Flexible pact can be ended by whoever started it.
Can my partner see which apps I block?
No. They see your name, your initial and what you do in crew pacts, never your apps.
Does everyone in the crew need an iPhone and a subscription?
Yes. CoPact runs on iPhone with iOS 26.5 or later, and every member is on their own trial or subscription.
What if I actually need a blocked app?
Your Always Allowed apps stay open under every pact. Past those, the Emergency Pass opens everything for one hour, once a week.
